Plastic Free July!

El Contractor fully supports Plastic Free July and the movement to reduce plastic waste. We are committed to promoting sustainable practices and encouraging our customers to make environmentally-friendly choices.

Throughout Plastic Free July, we will actively promote alternatives to single-use plastics and provide eco-friendly options for our customers. Our team is dedicated to reducing our own plastic footprint and inspiring others to do the same.

Here are five tips on how to exchange plastics for alternatives during Plastic Free July, featuring well-known brands:

1. Swap plastic water bottles for stainless steel: Instead of buying plastic water bottles, invest in a durable stainless steel water bottle. They keep your drinks cold or hot and are reusable, reducing plastic waste.

2. Opt for glass containers over plastic food storage: Replace plastic food storage containers with glass. Glass containers are safe, reusable, and won’t leach harmful chemicals into your food.

3. Choose bamboo toothbrushes over plastic ones: Instead of using traditional plastic toothbrushes, try bamboo toothbrushes. They are biodegradable and eco-friendly.

4. Use reusable cloth bags for groceries: Ditch single-use plastic bags and opt for reusable cloth bags.

5. Switch to metal or silicone straws: Say no to plastic straws and go for reusable alternatives like stainless steel or silicone straws.

The key is to look for reusable, biodegradable, or recyclable options to replace single-use plastics in your daily life. Let’s make Plastic Free July a month of positive change for the environment!

Join us in taking the Plastic Free July challenge and make a positive impact on the planet. Together, we can create a cleaner and greener future for everyone.
